SBI’s digital services will remain closed at this time
The bank has informed its customers through a tweet about the impact of digital banking services. In which SBI has written that we will do the maintenance work from 10.45 pm to 1.15 pm on the night of 16 and 17 July. Internet Banking / YONO / YONO Lite / UPI services will not be available during this period. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused to our customers and request your cooperation.
Even before these services were stopped
Let us tell you, this is not the first time that SBI is shutting down digital banking services for the first time. For the past few months, services are being stalled by SBI for some time in the name of maintenance. At the same time, this will be the second time in a week that services will be affected. Earlier on July 10 and July 11, it was stalled for some time.
Even before this, the bank had stopped these services from 3.25 am on July 3 to 5.50 am on the next day i.e. from 3.25 am to 5:50 am on July 4. SBI had also closed its services for four-four hours in the month of June.
Millions of customers will have trouble
Let us tell you, there are more than 22 thousand bank branches across the country. According to the data of 31 December 2020, the number of Internet banking customers is 85 million, while the number of mobile bank customers is 19 million. The number of UPI subscribers is more than 135 million. At the same time, the closure of these services on the part of the bank may cause inconvenience to so many customers.
