Today is Devshayani Ekadashi (Chaturmas). For the next 4 months, Lord Vishnu will become sleepy from today and Lord Shiva will take over the control of the world. With this, Chaturmas 2021 will also start and all auspicious works will be barred. This Ekadashi (Devashayani Ekadashi) of Shukla Paksha of Ashadh month is said to be very important in Hinduism. By observing fast on this day, all the sins committed in knowing or knowing oneself are destroyed. This fast is very fruitful.  

Do not eat these things on Devshayani Ekadashi 

On the day of Devshayani Ekadashi, fasting and worship performed according to law is of great benefit. Along with destroying all the sins, it also fulfills all the wishes. To get the full fruit of this fast, it is very important to keep some things in mind.

– The fasting should not eat rice on this day, otherwise, it does not give the fruits of the fast. If possible, even people who do not fast should not eat rice. 

-People who wish to have good health should not eat jaggery on this day. 

-Do not sleep during the day on Devshayani Ekadashi. Devote maximum time to the worship of God. 

– Such people who want long life or want to get child happiness, they should not massage with oil on this day. 

-Apart from this, do not eat non-veg-alcohol, honey, curd, and rice on the day of Devshayani Ekadashi. Also, radish and brinjal should not be eaten.
