Send Money with Aadhaar: If you like to pay using your phone, you should know that you may also pay with your Aadhaar number. There is a better solution for you if you also want to pay digitally but the person who wants to pay does not have a phone number or a UPI address. If you’re a BHIM user, you can send money to someone using their Aadhaar number. Let’s have a look at the entire procedure.

Money can be transferred using an Aadhar number.

‘This option to send money from an Aadhaar number is accessible on the beneficiary’s BHIM address,’ according to the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) on its official website. When sending money to anyone using the BHIM app, you can utilize your Aadhaar number. Even if the person in front of you does not have UPI, he will receive money with this method.

How to use BHIM to send money with an Aadhaar number

According to the UIDAI website, to transmit money using an Aadhaar number on the BHIM app, you must first enter the beneficiary’s Aadhaar number and then click the Verify button. The system will then validate the Aadhaar number’s connection and send the payment to the beneficiary.

This is how you can get money by using your Aadhaar number to send money.

According to UIDAI, when using the BHIM app to transmit money from an Aadhaar number, the recipient would be credited after the money is sent to the bank account designated for his or her DBT/Aadhaar-based credit. Aadhaar number and fingerprint can also be used to make digital payments to retailers who accept Aadhaar Pay POS.

What should you do if you have more than one bank account linked to your Aadhaar number?

Following this, you would undoubtedly wonder why so many people have many bank accounts, all of which are linked to Aadhaar. So, can you utilize all of your accounts to make digital payments or not? You will be given the option to choose the bank from which you want to make the payment when utilizing your Aadhaar number to make a payment. After making a payment through Aadhaar, the money will be debited from the bank account you provide.
