Electric vehicle start-up Bounce Electric is all set to launch its first affordable e-scooter in India tomorrow, which will be made available with and without a battery.
Bounce Electric is about to become a new player in the two-wheeler market, which will launch a new electric scooter in India tomorrow i.e. on 2 December 2022. This electric vehicle maker start-up is about to launch a new scooter Bounce Infinity in India. The company will start booking the e-scooter with a token amount of Rs 499. The Bounce Infinity scooter comes with a smart, detachable lithium-ion battery. If needed, the battery can be detached from this scooter and it can be charged according to convenience.
‘Battery as a Service’ option
The Bounce EV is also offering a unique ‘Battery as a Service’ option in the new scooter where the customer can buy the scooter without the battery, making the scooter very economical. After this, customers can deposit the charge with the help of Bounce’s battery-swapping network and replace the discharged battery with a full charged battery scooter. With this option, a scooter without a battery can be purchased at a cost of 40 percent less than a scooter with a battery.

Being made at Bhiwadi plant in Rajasthan
The company has not yet given any official information about the new Infinity EV. Meanwhile, the company has announced that, in 2021, it has acquired 100 percent of 22 Motors for about Rs 52 crore. Under this deal, the electric vehicle manufacturer has acquired rights over 22Motors’ Bhiwadi plant in Rajasthan and the property there. This plant can produce 1,80,000 scooters annually. Apart from this, the company has also announced a policy to start a new plant in South India.
