But now you can make changes in your Aadhaar sitting at home on your own. You can easily change your date of birth on your Aadhar card. According to the official website of Aadhaar card uidai.gov.in, if you want to make some corrections to your Aadhaar, then you will get two chances for it. But in this also some rules and conditions apply. 

How many times can I make corrections to Aadhaar?

1. Name: Can be changed only twice. 

2. Date of Birth: Correction can be done only once.

3. Gender: In this also you can make changes only once.

No limit fixed for these changes

Address: There is no limit to this because people get it changed after changing house or changing place, which is also necessary.

Photo: If the photo is not clear or for any reason, it can be corrected any number of times.

Mobile Number: There is no limit in this also, any number of times correction can be done.

Do DOB ​​update like this sitting at home

1. First of all you have to go to the official website uidai.gov.in.

2. Here you have to go to the ‘My Aadhaar’ section and go to ‘Update Your Aadhaar’.

3. After this, click on ‘Update your Demographics Data Online’.

4. By clicking here, you will reach the official website of UIDAI’s Self Service Update Portal, ssup.uidai.gov.in.

5. Apart from this, you can also visit direct https://ssup.uidai.gov.in/ssup/.

6. Now here you click on ‘Proceed to Update Aadhaar’.

7. On the newly opened page, you will have to log in with the 12 digit Aadhaar number

8. After this, fill in the captcha given on the screen and click on Send OTP. After which OTP will reach your registered mobile number.

9. Submit the OTP received on the registered mobile number by entering it in the specified space.

10. Now on the newly opened page you will get two options. Updation of Demographic Details including Address with Supporting Document Proof and Address Update through Address Validation Letter

11. To update any of the Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Address along with Document Proof, click on ‘Update Demographics Data’.

12. After this, you have to select the details you want to update.

13. After entering all the details, a verification OTP will be sent to your number and you will have to verify it. After that change the save.
