Sleeping pod facility opens at second position in Mumbai
Indian Railways has introduced sleeping pods for passengers at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) station in Mumbai. Earlier on 17 November 2021, Pod Hotel was started for passengers at Mumbai Central Railway Station of Western Railway. Thus this is the second sleep pod service facility launched in Mumbai.
Sleeping pods have small living rooms
In the information given by the Railways, it was told that the Indian Railways had taken this initiative to provide comfortable and affordable living options. On his Twitter page, Ashwini Vaishnav, the minister of railways, also posted some images of this sleeping pod. Let us clarify that sleeping pods are actually compact spaces where guests can sleep. 4 family pods out of a total of 40 sleeping pods
Railways have opened a new sleeping pod hotel near the waiting room on the main line of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) Mumbai. Its name is Namah Sleeping Pods. It was told by the railways that at present 40 sleeping pods are present in this sleeping pods present at CSMT. There are 30 single pods, 6 double pods, and 4 family pods.
