PAN card Lost: PAN or Permanent Account Number, which is a ten-digit unique alphanumeric number issued by the Income Tax Department of India, is an identification card issued to most taxpayers. There are two types of PAN card applications: one for Indians and the other for foreign nationals who are taxed through Indian government agencies. Worry not, as the Government of India now allows you to get a duplicate PAN card in place of the old PAN card. Your PAN card can be stolen or lost somewhere. In such a situation, you have to register an FIR. After this, you can apply for a duplicate PAN card online. Here some steps are also being told so that you can download your PAN card.

Visit this official website https://www.onlineservices.nsdl.com/paam/requestAndDownloadEPAN.html
– Select Acknowledgment Number or PAN.
Enter your alphanumeric PAN number.
Enter your Aadhaar number.
– Enter your DOB and GSTN number (optional).
Tick mark the Aadhaar acceptance box.
Fill in the captcha to submit your form.

If the PAN card application

is processed through an acknowledgment number, then an OTP will come after form submission. After that, you can easily download e-PAN by just clicking on ‘Download PDF’. This PDF is password protected which is your date of birth.

PAN card download

Will be delivered to you within 15 days after you pay the processing fee. You can download it up to three times at no charge and charges apply after that. Your PAN is allotted when your PAN application is submitted through NSDL e-governance or change is confirmed through ITD within the last 30 days.
