In India, the SUV market is expanding dramatically. This market is seeing a lot of new products. Sub-4 metre SUVs sell the most in the SUV market. This may be due to the fact that they are less expensive (than large or mid-size SUVs). Tata Nexon and the Maruti Brezza are also included in the sub-4 metre SUV category. Nexon has the cheaper beginning price of the two. Brezza’s starting pricing is Rs. 8.29 lakh, while Nexon’s price is Rs. 7.80 lakh.
Rating for safety
In terms of safety ratings, the Nexon is superior to the other two. Global NCAP has awarded the Nexon a 5-star safety rating. It was the first SUV in the nation to receive a 5-star Global NCAP safety rating. But since then, a number of other Indian-made SUVs have garnered 5-star reviews. Brezza, however, is not listed among these. Global NCAP has not given the new Maruti Brezza (2022 facelift version) a rating. However, in the crash test, the older Brezza received a 4 star safety rating.
Tata Nexon SUV – Engine Information
Both petrol and diesel engine options are available for the Tata Nexon. Its 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine produces 115PS/260Nm, while its 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine is capable of producing 120PS/170Nm. It has the choice of a 5-speed manual or an AMT transmission.
Features
In terms of features, the Nexon has practically everything you could want. It has a 7.0-inch touchscreen entertainment system, auto air conditioning, cruise control, a digital instrument cluster, rear AC vents, rain-sensing wipers, dual front airbags, electronic stability programme (ESP), ABS with EBD, and rear parking, among other features. It also supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Sensors and other features are available.
