Car modifications are common. People use these steps to make their cars look better. However, did you realize that some automobile modifications are prohibited? Your challan may be taken away if you make illegal car modifications. Therefore, if you’re considering having your car modified, you should be aware of the alterations you shouldn’t have done.
Fancy license plate
It is forbidden to use fancy license plates that feature information or artwork besides numbers. The car’s license plate must exactly match the one that the RTO has approved. Simply simply, it must be identical to the one that was first included with the car.
Car wind horn
Installing air horns in vehicles that make loud or harsh noises is prohibited. This can be deducted from the invoice. Air horn usage is prohibited because loud noises impair hearing. Animals and birds are also harmed by this.
Dark sun film
Installing completely black, opaque solar screens on a vehicle’s windows is prohibited. If the challan is installed, it may be subtracted. According to the regulations, the visibility of the car’s windscreen, back glass, and window glass must all be at least 70% visible.
A Car crash guard or bullbar
The front of an automobile cannot have bull bars or crash protectors installed. On the bumper, many individuals install bull bars (crash guards), which is prohibited and may result in a challan. Therefore, avoid installing bull bars.
Change in body color
Changing the color of the car’s body paint is also prohibited. It is possible to modify the paint color, though. The RTO will need to provide their approval before the body color of the automobile may also be seen on the RC.
