At the moment, Maruti Suzuki does not provide any electric vehicles. The business displayed the eVX, their first electric vehicle, during the January 2017 Auto Expo. This was the vehicle’s concept form, on which little work is now being done. It might debut next year around Diwali, according to expectations. It will compete in the market with the incoming Hyundai Creta EV. Early 2025 is the anticipated arrival date.
Range and Battery
The Born-EV platform will serve as the foundation for the Maruti EVX electric SUV. This can use an LFP Blade Cell 60kWh battery pack, which will enable it to provide a range of 550 kilometers on a single charge. It may be 4300mm long, 1800mm wide, and 1600mm high, according to the reports. It is anticipated to have a wheelbase of 2700mm.
Highlights of the idea version’s design
The V-shaped headlamps, blanked off-grille, big hood, and flat nose at the front of the Maruti EVX electric SUV concept model reflect the brand’s new design language. A sloping roofline, broad wheel arches, low overhangs, and noticeable side cladding are other design characteristics. It’s anticipated to get good ground clearance.
Highlights and Production
Many features, including a 360-degree camera, a heads-up display, a sunroof, automatic air conditioning, six airbags, etc., are anticipated to be included in it. However, no formal information is available about this. Inform them that the new Maruti EVX electric SUV will be produced at the automaker’s Gujarat-based manufacturing facility.
More electric vehicles
The company previously stated that it would import 6 new BEVs (Battery Electric Vehicles) to India, however, it did not specify which models would be imported. It might be an eVX, Grand Vitara EV, Jimny EV, Fronx EV, Baleno EV, or WagonR EV, according to media reports.
