The central government employees have received the best holiday news of the year. For the fiscal year 2022–2023, the government has awarded Diwali bonuses for Group-B non-gazetted officers and Group-C employees. Personnel from the paramilitary forces would also be covered by the Central Government’s decision, and they will receive a maximum Diwali bonus of Rs 7,000.
How much will the bonus be?
The central government on Tuesday declared a Non-Productivity Linked Bonus (Diwali Bonus 2023) for non-gazetted Group B and Group C personnel, according to news agency PTI. In this, non-gazetted employees of Groups B and C receive a bonus equal to one month’s wage. According to the report, central government employees who have worked continuously for at least six months during the fiscal year 2022–2023 will be eligible for this incentive (the Diwali incentive 2023) perk. Additionally, they ought to have been in operation until March 31, 2023. The government will also award this bonus to temporary workers hired on an as-needed basis. The only prerequisite is that their service must not be interrupted.
They will also gain something.
The Central Government has announced that the employees of the central paramilitary forces will also be eligible for the Adhoc Bonus. A Diwali bonus of up to Rs 7,000 would be offered to them.
The bonus is determined in this manner.
The non-productivity linked bonus (Diwali Bonus 2023) for the employees is determined using a unique methodology. Bonus is included in this on the basis of the average employee compensation. For instance, if you work for the government and earn a salary of about Rs 20,000, you may be eligible for a bonus of about Rs 19,000.
