The new 740d M Sport and i7 M70 xDrive from German automaker BMW have been introduced in India. Their respective prices are Rs. 1.81 crore and Rs. 2.50 crore. At BMW’s factory in Chennai, the BMW 740d M Sport is domestically produced, whilst the BMW i7 M70 xDrive will be sold as a CBU.
There will be four color options
for the brand-new BMW 740d M Sport: Oxide Grey, Mineral White, Black Sapphire, and BMW Individual Tanzanite Blue. The BMW i7 M70 xDrive will also be offered at the same time with their Individual Paintwork as standard, which comes in Black Sapphire Roof or Oxide Grey Roof paintwork.
BMW i7 M70 x
The first electric M vehicle is the i7 M70 xDrive. It sports a twin motor configuration and a 101.7kWh lithium-ion battery pack. This system produces 641 horsepower and 1015 pound-feet of torque, making it the most potent electric BMW. According to the company, this configuration allows the car to have a 560 km range.
Characteristics and design
The i7 M70 xDrive receives M-style bumpers, side skirts, mirrors, alloy wheel design, and rear spoiler when it comes to appearance. The front grille is blacked out, the headlights are Swarovski crystals, and the brakes are Blue M. There are various goodies in the cabin, including a theatre screen on the backseat, a twin screen arrangement, ventilated seats with massage functions, and a steering wheel and roof liner covered in M leather.
740d M Sport BMW
The 3.0-litre diesel engine in the new 740d M Sport is paired with an 8-speed gearbox. This configuration has a 282bhp and 650Nm output. There is a mild hybrid system in the engine. This vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6 seconds.
