Several players will display their prowess in the next IPL-2024. A few Indian wicketkeepers will also be monitored in the interim. For a lot of players, this league may pave the path for the West Indies and America to host the T20 World Cup the following year. In the next Indian Premier League (IPL-2024) season, several wicketkeepers will display their prowess at bat. India’s wicketkeepers, namely KL Rahul and Ishan Kishan, will also be monitored in the interim.
KL Rahul is a serious candidate for the T20 World Cup.
The team will also have a backup wicketkeeper in addition to Rahul. But if Rahul doesn’t do well in the IPL-2024, the selection committee may think something else.
Ishan Kishan is now receiving more opportunities
in this condensed style from the selections and team management. Ishaan, 25, has amassed 796 runs at an average of 25 in 32 T20 International games thus far, including six half-centuries. Ishaan has amassed 4435 runs overall in 72 T20 matches thanks to three centuries and 26 half-centuries. If the selectors choose to give someone else a chance instead of Rahul, Ishaan will also be considered.
Sanju Samson of Kerala, who sees the IPL as a chance,
will also be watched closely. He was picked for the T20 series against Ireland before the 2023 ODI World Cup. Against South Africa in the ODI series, Sanju has a chance.
Regarding Sanju Samson’s career, he began playing
T20 international cricket in 2015. He has only participated in 24 T20 International games this year, though. He has only scored 374 runs and one half-century in this. The mean has only been twenty. Let me inform you that America and the West Indies will jointly host the T20 World Cup in June of next year.
Jitesh Sharma, the youthful wicketkeeper for Punjab,
is also on the list. In the two T20 series matches against Australia, wicketkeeper Jitesh was given an opportunity. He will need to perform better in the IPL than anticipated, though, if he hopes to make the T20 World Cup squad. After that, there will be competition to join the team. Jitesh has scored a total of 64 runs in 5 T20 International matches so far.
