In May of this year, Maruti Suzuki introduced the Jimny, which had an ex-showroom starting price of Rs 12.74 lakh. Although it appeared at the time of debut that it was receiving positive feedback from consumers, this does not appear to be the case. Most people believe that the five-door Jimny is an extremely costly vehicle. The business just unveiled Jimny – Thunder Edition, a new and reasonably priced model, keeping this in mind. This is a limited-edition model, though.
Cost of the Jimmy Thunder Edition
The ex-showroom price of the Maruti Jimny Thunder Edition is Rs 10.74 lakh and goes up to Rs 14.05 lakh. The Thunder Edition will only be available for purchase in December 2023 and is compatible with all four of the Jimny lineup’s versions. In contrast to the beginning price of the regular Jimny, the Thunder Edition is cheaper by Rs 2 lakh.

There are unique body decals on the Jimny Thunder Edition. It also has silver accents on the door visor, side door cladding, and front bumper. Additionally, the front and side fenders, hood, and ORVMs are garnished. An interior design upgrade with a tan-finished steering wheel and floor mats (different for manual and automatic versions) improves the appearance of the cabin.
Other than this,
the interior design and arrangement of the cabin are identical to that of the standard Jimny. It is equipped with six airbags, a 9-inch touchscreen, cruise control, auto climate control, an electronic stability program (ESP), and a rear parking camera. The Jimny Thunder Edition’s powertrain specifications have not changed. Additionally, a 1.5-liter K15B naturally aspirated petrol engine with 104 horsepower and 134 Nm is included. A 5-speed manual or 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox is available for this machine. Every version has a 4×4 drivetrain with a low-range transmission.
