Credit card rules have changed for HDFC, SBI & ICICI! know the new rules

This information is beneficial to you if you too use credit cards. Indeed, several public and commercial banks have modified their credit card policies recently. A portion of these modifications require the cardholder to be informed of them. SBI Card, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and Axis Bank are the banks that made this modification.

The terms for the Regalia and Millennia

credit cards have been modified by HDFC Bank. Regalia cardholders will notice changes to the lounge access rules as of December 1, 2023. The lounge access program will be dependent on credit card expenditure as per the new regulations. If you spend more than Rs 1 lakh in a calendar quarter, you will receive two lounge admission tickets. In a similar vein, on spending Rs 1 lakh every quarter with HDFC Millennia Card, you will get lounge access.

According to the SBI Card,

as of January 1, 2024, cashback for ticket payment transactions on your Paytm SBI Credit Card will no longer be available. The 10X reward points for EasyDiner online purchases made with the SimplyClick/SimplyClick Advantage SBI Card will change to 5X reward points as of November 1, 2023. When you make online purchases on Apollo 24×7, Bookmyshow, Cleartrip, Dominos, Myntra, Netmades, and Yatra, 10X reward points will be added to your card.

Important adjustments

have also been made by Axis Bank for credit card users. The Magnus Credit Card’s annual cost and joining gift have changed thanks to Axis Bank. The Axis Bank Reserve Credit Card’s terms and conditions have also been modified by the bank.

The regulations governing

credit card holders’ access to airport lounges and reward points may shortly be modified by ICICI Bank. As to the ICICI Bank website, if you spend Rs 35,000 in the preceding calendar quarter, you can have access to airport lounges starting on April 1, 2024. Access for the upcoming calendar quarter can be unlocked by spending during the preceding calendar quarter.
