Preorders for the C3 Aircross automatic version are now being accepted by the French automaker Citroen. It hasn’t been released yet, though. The launch date is set for January 29, 2024. With a nominal payment of Rs 25,000, interested parties can reserve the Citroen C3 Aircross Automatic online or at approved dealerships.
The C3 Aircross automatic
will be available in two trim levels: Max and. In terms of features, the SUV will include a new 7-inch TFT display, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a reverse parking camera with sensors. Additional features of the seven-seater SUV include a rear AC vent located on the roof, USB charging, a rear wiper, and a washer.
The SUV’s diamond-cut
alloy 16-inch wheels will be included. In addition, it offers features like a height-adjustable headrest, front fog lamps, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, leatherette upholstery on the door armrests, a rear center armrest with cupholders for the five-seater, six speakers, etc. A 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine powers the Citroen C3 Aircross. It is paired to a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox with manual gear selector mode. This engine’s output has been adjusted to produce 205 Nm of torque and 109 horsepower.
In other words,
the SUV’s automatic version has the same power as its manual counterpart, but it now offers 205 Nm of torque instead of 190 Nm. This indicates that the automatic C3 Aircross will have 15 Nm more torque than the manual C3 Aircross.
Notably
the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, VW Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Honda Elevate, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Toyota Hyrider are the competitors of the Citroen C3 Aircross in the market. When compared to the manual version, the automatic version may cost approximately Rs 1 lakh more.
