The 4kWh battery-powered S1X scooter has been introduced by Ola Electric. According to the firm, it has a 190-kilometer riding range. The new S1X 4kWh model is still available for Rs 1,09,999. Delivery of it is scheduled to begin in April.
The new S1X has a top
speed of ninety kilometers per hour. It takes 3.3 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 40 kmph. Red Velocity, Midnight, Vogue, Stellar, Funk, Porcelain White, and Liquid Silver are the seven color options offered for the S1X. It features a physical key unlock mechanism and a 4.3-inch segmented display. It lacks smart connectivity, whereas the 3kWh S1X model features a 5-inch segmented display, keyless unlock, and smart connectivity. Other than them, the S1X scooter series also comes with a 2kWh variant, which is the cheapest model in the series and offers the lowest range (143 km).
Additionally, Ola Electric
has announced that the warranty on all of its products will be extended for up to 8 years or 80,000 kilometers on batteries. In addition to introducing the new S1X and announcing an 8-year warranty, Ola has also unveiled a supplementary warranty option with a maximum mileage of 1,25,000 kilometers. This is a paid option, though. In other words, money can be paid to take it.
Ola announced
intentions to expand its charging infrastructure by reaching residential areas and roads, with 10,000 units by the end of this quarter, in addition to the debut of the S1X 4kWh battery pack scooter. The business also declared that it would increase the number of service centers in its network to 600 by April.
