Macan EV was introduced by Porsche. This is the first all-electric SUV made by the firm. Since the Macan’s initial release ten years ago, the firm has chosen to introduce the electric SUV that is part of its second generation. Porsche has introduced the Macan 4 and Macan Turbo as the two trim levels for the upcoming e-SUV.
The starting price of the
Macan Turbo in India is Rs 1.65 crore. Orders are now being placed, and the second part of the year will see the beginning of delivery. This aims to maintain the Macan’s design ethos and performance while providing a respectable range.
Each Macan EV model has a 95kWh battery.
Each axle of the vehicle has two motors and an all-wheel-drive system. The Macan 4 has 400 horsepower and 650 Nm output. It will appear with a top speed of 220 km per hour. It accelerates from 0-100 kmph in 5.2 seconds.  In contrast, the Macan Turbo produces 1,130 Nm and 630 horsepower. The Macan Turbo can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds. It can reach a maximum speed of 260 km/h.
The 800-volt Premium Platform Electric (PPE),
which was created in collaboration with Audi for the Q6 e-tron, and serves as the foundation for the Macan EV. With a 270 kW DC charging output, the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in roughly 21 minutes. Three screens are available for the Macan EV: an optional 10.9-inch screen for the front passenger, a 10.9-inch infotainment system, and a curved 12.6-inch instrument cluster. Android Automotive OS serves as the foundation for the infotainment system.
While the Macan Turbo
has an electronic damping control system called Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), the Macan is outfitted with four steel-string suspension. Two-valve dampers are now included in the PASM.
