The first teaser for the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar NS400 has been released by Bajaj Automotive. The launch date of this bike is set for May 3, 2024. The bike’s alloy wheels, which resemble the recently released Pulsar N250, are featured in the teaser film. The exhaust system at the back of the car will probably be replaced with an underbelly exhaust. Also available in a comparable configuration are the Bajaj Pulsar NS160 and NS200. Additionally, a single-sided mount rear tire hugger and a bigger rear tire will be fitted to the NS400.
Gearbox and Engine
The engine of the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar NS400 could be a single-cylinder, 373.3cc liquid-cooled engine. The Dominar 400 is also equipped with this engine. It produces 35 Nm of torque and 40 PS of power. There may be a 6-speed gearbox available. The quick-shifter may be kept exclusive to the top-end variants. This will be the Pulsar with the largest engine to date. The new Bajaj Pulsar NS400 is available with a mono-shock suspension system in the back and a USD fork up front. Both wheels can have disc brakes installed, and ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) can be installed as standard. In terms of features, it has turn-by-turn navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, a fully digital instrument cluster, and an LED lighting system.
Cost and rivalry
Regarding pricing, the ex-showroom price of the new Bajaj Pulsar NS400 is anticipated to be approximately Rs 2 lakh. Its main rivals will be the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401, Triumph Speed 400, and KTM 390 Duke.
Brand-new CNG motorcycle
In addition, Bajaj Auto is working on a new CNG motorcycle that could debut in the first quarter of FY 2025. It is expected to come with 110-125cc engine. The CNG cylinder can be placed under the long and flat single-piece seat.
