Mahindra Thar

This vehicle is capable of off-roading properly. This three-door SUV has a strong engine, attractive appearance, and a 4×4 layout. Three engine options are available for it: a 1.5-liter diesel (118PS/300Nm), a 2.2-liter diesel (130PS/300Nm), and a 2-liter turbocharged petrol (150PS/320Nm). The starting pricing for a 4×4 Thar is Rs 14.30 lakh.

Maruti Suzuki Jimny

Maruti Gipsy was long renowned for its off-road prowess. The company introduced Jimny as a substitute last year. Like Thar, Jimny is also capable of off-roading. Jimny sports a 1.5-liter petrol engine with 134 Nm and 105 PS. It has 4×4 as standard. The starting price is Rs 12.74 lakh.

Mahindra Scorpio N

The all-new Mahindra Scorpio-N provides exceptional off-road and on-road performance. Options for Scorpio-N include 2WD and 4WD. Its 4WD configuration variations are priced starting at Rs 18.01 lakh. It is included in the 4×4 SUVs list. There are two engine options available for the Scorpio-N: a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine with different power/torque outputs and a 2.2-liter diesel.
