According to official documents released on September 29 on the World Health Organization (WHO) vaccine, the World Health Organization will take a final decision on approving Covaxin in October.

Covaxin may get approval soon

Let us tell you that on October 5, the World Health Organization (WHO)’s Expert Group of Scientists on Vaccine Strategic Advisory Group of Experts (SAGE) will meet to approve Covaxin and give its decision on approving Covaxin.

SAGE meeting will last for one and a half hours

Know that this meeting of SAGE will be done only to give final approval to Covaxin. This meeting will last for one and a half hours. According to Indian time, the meeting of SAGE will start at 4:45 pm on the approval of WHO to Covaxin. Apart from the scientists of SAGE, representatives of Bharat Biotech will also be present in the meeting.

World Health Organization will make the final decision

Significantly, in the meeting, on the basis of the data of the trial conducted in India of the vaccine, its safety and effectiveness will be discussed. After which the World Health Organization will make a final decision on approving the vaccine.
