Royal Enfield Bikes: Royal Enfield continues to dominate the 350cc segment in the Indian motorcycle market. The last month has seen positive growth in the 350cc motorcycle segment. In January 2023, 68,880 units have been sold with an increase of 35.53 percent. The top 5 models in the list belong to Royal Enfield alone. The company’s Classic 350 segment has been the best-selling bike of the company. However, a bike of 1.5 lakhs from Royal Enfield beat the rest of the bikes including Bullet. This is the company’s Royal Enfield Hunter 350, which has got the second position in the list.
1.5 lakh bike did wonders
In the list of top 5 models, Royal Enfield Classic 350 has the highest sales in January 2023. It sold 26,134 units last month, which is a decrease of 2.39% as compared to 26,775 units sold in January 2022. Only the Classic 350 was sold. The market share in the 350cc segment is 37.94%. Hunter 350 at number two sold 16,574 units in January 2023. It saw a monthly decline of 3.98% in sales as against sales of 17,261 units in December 2022. Its market share has been 24.06%.
The special thing is that this bike has come at number two in a very short time. It even left behind motorcycles like the Bullet 350 and the Meteor 350 in sales. The starting price of the bike is around Rs 1.5 lakh. It is the lightest bike of the company. Its design also looks very attractive.
The condition of other bikes was like this
Bullet 350 sales grew 31.70% year-on-year to 9,685 units in January 2023. In January 2022, 7,354 units were sold. Similarly, the Royal Enfield Meteor stood at the fourth position in the list. In January 2023, its sales decreased by 9.91 percent to 7,622 units. Honda CB350 was at number six in the list.
