Banks to remain closed on these 15 days in November! RBI released list

There are a lot of festivities in November. If you must visit the bank branch in this circumstance. It is crucial that you review the list of holidays prior to that. This month will see a number of significant celebrations, from Karva Chauth to Diwali (Diwali 2023) and Chhath Puja (Chhath Puja 2023) celebrations. This means that banks won’t be open for business for several days. The RBI has published a schedule of bank holidays.

The RBI list indicates that banks would be closed for 15 days

in November instead of only 4 or 6. This covers all the festivities, such as Govardhan Puja, Chhath Puja, and Diwali. In addition, Saturday and Sunday are comprised. The RBI has produced a list of bank holidays that includes state holidays as well. Let’s see which days in November banks will be closed this time around.

Bank Holidays in November

November 1 – Banks will remain closed in Bengaluru, Imphal, and Shimla due to Kannada Rajyotsava/Kut/Karva Chauth.
5 November – Banks across the country will remain closed on Sunday.
10 November – Banks will remain closed in Shillong due to Govardhan Puja/Lakshmi Puja/Deepawali/Diwali.
11 November – Banks will remain closed due to the second Saturday.
12 November – Banks across the country will remain closed on Sunday.
13 November – Due to Govardhan Puja/Lakshmi Puja/Deepawali/Diwali, there will be a holiday in banks in Agartala, Dehradun, Gangtok, Imphal, Jaipur, Kanpur, Lucknow.
14 November – There will be a holiday in banks in Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bengaluru, Gangtok, Mumbai, and Nagpur due to Diwali (Bali Pratipada) / Vikram Samvat New Year / Lakshmi Puja.

RBI15 November – Banks will remain closed in Gangtok, Imphal, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow and Shimla due to Bhai Dooj/Chitragupta Jayanti/Lakshmi Puja/Ningal Chakkuba/Bhratri Dwitiya.
19 November – Banks across the country will remain closed on Sunday.
20 November – Banks will remain closed in Patna and Ranchi due to Chhath.
23 November – Banks will remain closed in Dehradun and Shillong due to Seng Kut Snem/Igas Bagwal.
25 November – Fourth Saturday
26 November – Banks across the country will remain closed due to Sunday.
27 November – Due to Guru Nanak Jayanti/Karthik Purnima, banks will remain closed in the entire country except Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Gangtok, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Imphal, Kochi, Panaji, Patna, Trivandrum and Shillong.
November 30, 2023- Banks will remain closed in Bengaluru due to Kanakadas Jayanti.

Due to holidays, banks will be closed in November. However, the bank has made it possible for customers to complete work from home via mobile net banking; however, in this scenario, cash withdrawals from ATMs may be problematic. Make financial arrangements in advance of the holidays.
