Railways to increase these trains frequencies due to Chhath Puja

The Diwali festival is over. Buses and trains are extremely crowded, though, because many people are returning home for Chhath Puja and Diwali celebrations. Railways has chosen to operate six more trains to alleviate the situation and help the passengers. As soon as these trains are put into the system, ticket sales begin. There are open seats in several classes. In addition, the Railways have increased the frequency of eight trains while still considering the convenience of the customers. In consideration of Chhath Puja, special trains will be operated, it has been announced.

These special trains will run throughout the month

• Surat-Subedarganj Express (09117-09118) will run till 24th November.
• Udhna-Patna Express (09045-09046) will run till 25th November.
• Samastipur-Ahmedabad Express (09414) will run till December 2. Some trains will run for a few days a week.
• Lokmanya Tilak-Danapur Express (01409-01410) will run every Saturday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday till December 2.
• Pune-Danapur Express (01415-01416) will run every Friday till December 1.
• Pune-Kanpur Central Express (01037-01038) will run every Wednesday till 29th November.
• Pune-Danapur Express (01039-01040) will run every Saturday till December 2.

• Anand Vihar Terminus-Katihar Express (04048-04047) will run till 17th November.
• Anand Vihar Terminus-Jayanagar Express (04058-04057) will run till 18th November.
• Anand Vihar Terminus-Patna Express (04066-04065) will run every Monday and Thursday till 30th November.
• Delhi-Barauni Express (04062-04061) will run every Sunday till 26th November.
• Lal Kuan-Kanpur Anwarganj Express (05306-05305) will run till 29th December.
• Subedarganj-Bandra Express (04125-04126) will run till 25th December.
• Mumbai Central-Katihar Express (09189-09190) will run till 30th December.
• Bhagat Ki Kothi-Danapur Express (04811-04812) will run till 29th November.
• Rajkot-Barauni Express (09569-09570) will run till 29th December.
• Sabarmati-Danapur Express (09403-09404) will run till 26th November.
