Indian Railways will now provide free water to passengers in these trains

For those riding the Vande Bharat trains, there is exciting news. They will now be provided a half-liter, or 500 ml, Rail Neer bottle of water while riding this train instead of a one-liter bottle. According to the information provided to the public, Railways has provided each passenger on all Vande Bharat trains with a 500 ml Rail Neer Packaged Drinking Water (PDW) bottle to reduce the waste of valuable drinking water. have decided to donate. One more bottle of Rail Neer PDW  of 500 ml will be given to passengers on demand without any extra charge.

What reasoning does Railways have for making this choice?

The Railways claim that “some passengers do not consume water completely, this leads to wastage of water” about the reduction of water used in Vande Bharat trains. Water up to one liter is still provided to railroad passengers as part of the training price without incurring an additional cost, but it is now split into two sections. Accordingly, passengers will now essentially receive a 500 ml bottle rather than a liter, and if they ask again, they will receive a complimentary 500 ml bottle.

The country’s Shatabdi Express trains are already equipped with a system for supplying half-liter water bottles, but the Vande Bharat and Shatabdi train operation hours are not the same. Half a liter of water may be used during the eight hours that many Vande Bharat trains take to traverse. When railway passengers receive 500 ml of water, they should be told that if they would like to take half a liter of water, they can go to Vande Bharat trains, even if they are not able to drink the complete one-liter bottle. It will be provided without charge.
