The cost of its Fortuner 7-seat SUV has been secretly raised by Toyota Kirloskar Motor India in India. Customers will now pay up to Rs 70,000 more for this SUV’s diesel versions, while the price of its petrol versions has climbed by Rs 44,000. The ex-showroom cost of this SUV has increased, and it now ranges from Rs 33.43 lakh to Rs 51.44 lakh.
Which variant’s price increased by how much?
The Toyota Fortuner’s ex-showroom price has climbed by Rs 44000, making it now cost Rs 33.43 lakh for the 42 MT petrol version. Similar to this, the cost of its 42 MT diesel variant has climbed by Rs 44000 to Rs 35.93 lakh, and the cost of its 42 AT petrol variation has increased by Rs 44000 to Rs 35.02 lakh. The cost of 44 MT diesel climbed by Rs 70000 to Rs 40.03 lakh with an increase of Rs 38.21 lakh, the cost of 44 AT diesel increased by Rs 70000 to Rs 42.32 lakh with an increase of Rs 70000, and the cost of GR-S 44 AT diesel increased by Rs 70000.
Priced at Rs 33.43 lakh for the manual
Toyota Fortuner and Rs 35.02 lakh for the automatic, respectively. While its diesel range has a starting price of Rs 35.93 lakh and a maximum price of Rs 51.44 lakh. Diesel 42 versions are now 44,000 rupees more expensive, while 44 versions are now 70,000 rupees more expensive.
Powertrain
Two engine options are available for the Toyota Fortuner SUV: a 2.7-liter NA petrol and a 2.8-liter turbo diesel, which produce 164 bhp and 245 nm of torque and 201 bhp and 500 nm of torque, respectively. Both an automatic transmission and a 6-speed manual gearbox are available. The top-tier diesel variant offers a 44 system as an option.
