and Sales Kunal Bahl announced that the business will raise car prices starting next month to lessen the financial strain brought on by rising production costs. He declared, “By the end of this month, the increase in the models will be finalized.” That being said, the rates set at the time the Elevate model was introduced will stand.

Honda Cars India’s domestic wholesale sales rose to 8,730 units last month (November 2023) from 7,051 units in the same period the previous year, a 24 percent rise. According to Yuichi Murata, company director of marketing and sales, “Our new SUV Elevate has received a very good response in the market and customers are very fond of it.”

Before this, it was announced that Honda, Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra & Mahindra, and Audi India would also be raising the pricing of their passenger cars starting in January 2024.
