Hyundai has introduced the new i20 Sportz (O) model to the Indian market, with an ex-showroom starting price of Rs 8.73 lakh. This model’s foundation is the Sportz trim. It is exclusively available with a manual transmission. It comes in single and dual-tone color options, however, the dual-tone model costs Rs 8.88 lakh (ex-showroom), which is a tad more.
The 1.2-liter petrol engine
the i20 Sportz (O) generates 115 Nm of torque and 82 horsepower. This engine has been installed with a 5-speed manual transmission. The base Sportz variant costs ₹35,000 less than the new i20 Sportz (O) model. The three new features—the sunroof, leatherette door armrests, and wireless charger—come at an additional cost.
Trim, cost, and rivalry
It is noteworthy that there are five different trim levels for the Hyundai i20: Era, Magna, Sportz, Asta, and Asta (O). The prices of these trim levels range from ₹ 7.04 lakh to ₹ 11.21 lakh (ex-showroom). i20 Sportz (O) has now been included in this list as well. Let us inform you that it is a competitor in the market with Tata Altroz and Maruti Baleno. Maruti Baleno, though, has the best sales out of all of them.
Baleno costs between
Rs 6.61 lakh and Rs 9.88 lakh (ex-showroom). Trims including Zeta, Alpha, Delta, and Sigma are available. Nexa Blue, Pearl Arctic White, Grandeur Grey, Splendid Silver, Opulent Red, Lux Beige, and Pearl Midnight Black are the six colors that are offered. Its petrol engine is 1.2 liters as well.
