The number of cars sold in February 2024 has been made public. In terms of sales in February, Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, Mahindra, and Toyota were the top five car makers.
Maruti Suzuki
Maruti Suzuki is leading the car market; in February, it sold 1,97,471 units, up 15% year over year. A year earlier, during the same time frame, it had sold 1,72,321 units.
Hyundai
Coming in second, Hyundai’s overall sales in February grew to 60,501 units, a 4.5 percent yearly growth. Last year, the company sold 57,851 units during the same month.
Tata Motors:
Tata came in at number three. In February, it sold 51,321 passenger cars overall, up from 43,140Â in February 2023. Sales have increased by 19% on an annual basis.
Mahindra
Mahindra, which ranked fourth, sold 42,401 passenger cars in the domestic market in February. This represents a 40% yearly gain over the 30,358 units it sold in the same month the previous year.
Toyota
Coming in at number five, the car manufacturer sold 25,220 cars in February, setting a record for monthly wholesales. An annual increase of 61% has been observed in sales.
