In India, the trend of purchasing SUV is growing. Many SUVs, like the Mahindra Scorpio, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Tata Nexon, and Tata Punch, are particularly well-liked. Even though the Hyundai Creta was the top-selling SUV in June 2023, the Maruti Suzuki Brezza has excelled based on sales growth. It has outsold every other vehicle, including the Hyundai Creta, Tata Nexon, Tata Punch, and Mahindra Scorpio, in terms of annual sales growth.
In June 2023, the Hyundai Creta sold 14,447 units
A 5% yearly increase in sales. Tata Nexon sold 13,827 units during the same time, however, this represented a 3% annual reduction in sales. After these, 11,606 Hyundai Venues were sold, representing a 12% annual rise in vehicle sales. Sales of the Tata Punch (10,990 units in June 2023) increased by 6% annually.
Sales of the Maruti Suzuki Brezza have increased by 140%
annually at the same time. Brezza sold 4,404 units in June 2022, 10,578 units in June 2023, and 10,990 units in June 2024. In this way, its annual sales have climbed by 140%. It has outperformed all SUVs in terms of annual growth.
Even though Mahindra Scorpio’s sales
have increased significantly, Brezza continues to outsell it. Sales of Scorpio have risen by 109%. In contrast to the 8,648 units sold in June 2023, 4,131 Scorpio vehicles were sold in that month.
