Honda Activa has achieved domination in the Indian market as the top-selling scooter in June 2023. It is also incomparable to well-known scooters and electric scooters like the TVS Jupiter, Suzuki Access, TVS Ntorq, Ola S1, and TVS iQube. The Honda Activa continued to be the most popular scooter in June.
With more than 1.3 lakh units sold
in the most recent month (June 2023), Honda Activa was the most popular scooter in the nation. 1,30,830 units have been sold as of June 2023. However, on an annual basis, its sales have decreased. Comparing June of this year (June 2022) to June of the previous year, there is a 29 percent decline in sales. More than 1.84 lakh Activa units were sold in June 2022.
The stark disparity in sales figures between the Honda Activa
and the second-best-selling scooter provides insight into the product’s dominance and strong sales in the Indian market. With 64,252 sales, the TVS Jupiter was the second most popular scooter in June 2023. Suzuki Access, which has sold a total of 39,503 units, is currently ranked third. The TVS Ntorq, which sold 28,077 units, came in at number four, and the Ola S1 electric scooter, which sold 17,579 units, came in at number five. Now take note of the sales differential between the first and second number of scooters, which is approximately 66 thousand units.
Notably, there are two different Honda Activa models available on the market:
the 6G and the 125. Activa 125 Drum variant costs Rs 79,806 (ex-showroom), followed by Drum Alloy, Disc, and H-Smart variants at Rs 83,474, Rs 86,979, and Rs 88,979 (ex-showroom), respectively. The DLX variant costs Rs 78,734 (ex-showroom), the H-Smart variant costs Rs 82,234 (ex-showroom), and the regular variant of the Activa 6G model costs Rs 76,233 (ex-showroom).
