Honda India has launched the Honda City compact sedan as a new model. The Honda City has undergone a number of changes to its design, features, and powertrain. It is one of the most well-known sedan cars in India. The Honda City 2023 is available in four versions: V, VX, ZX, and VX. The new City is priced between Rs 11.49 lakhs and Rs 15.97 lakhs in petrol-only versions. The hybrid version (City e-HEV facelift), will cost between Rs 18.89 lakhs and Rs 20.39 lakh (ex-showroom). It is competing with the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz 2023 and the Hyundai Verna 2023. On 21 March, Hyundai Verna will be launched in a new version.
Although the company has updated the exteriors of the building,
the interiors are unchanged. The new interior features include a dual-tone theme and new upholstery. The features include an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment screen, a 7-inch digital driver display, automatic climate controls, and a panoramic sunroof. It also offers wireless charging and wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.
Additional ADAS Features
The ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistant System) is the most significant addition to the Honda City’s features. This feature was added to the Strong Hybrid model last year. This package includes adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, and autonomous emergency brakes.
The 1.5-liter diesel engine was discontinued.
It can now run on E20-ethanol-blend. The engine produces 121 horsepower and 145 Nm peak torque. The Honda City petrol gets 17.8 kmpl in the manual and 18.4 kmpl in the automatic. The 1.5-liter hybrid engine produces 126 horsepower and a maximum torque of 256 Nm. It achieves a fuel economy of 27.13 kmpl.
